dance

I am in my second year of competitive dance in PD. I just love dancing so I am planning to be a professional dancer. But I do not know what kind of dancer I want to be. I was thinking about being a ballerina but then I realized I would have to do partnering. Speaking of partnering, I am in the Christmas Spectacular show and for the beginning there is partnering. I got picked and everybody who got picked did not want to do it. The teacher(owner) asked me if I was cool with it and I said kind of but in my heart I really said NO. He picked another girl and asked her the same thing and she said no. Guess what the owner said, "Oh well, you will just have to live with it."

Our China trip

I went to China with my family for about 3 week. We went to Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shuzhou, Wuxi and Shaoxing. I liked candied strawberry which is strawberry that is coated with crunchy candy. I also liked looking at Chang Jiang river, seeing the Song dynasty performance and acrobatic performance. I remember going with tour groups, climbing the Great Wall (chang chen), visting the Mao zhu xi memorial, walking through the forbidden city where the emperor used to live and etc. I didn't like getting pushed, the squat toilet and stinky bathrooms. In China, there was a lot of yummy, yummy snacks. My favorite snack was this hand grounded peanut dough.

I think China was fun and I wish we can go again. Next time I will visit different parts of China, get some more toy pandas and some more massages. :)

This year is the year of the tiger.

We're on the Great Wall of China when it was raining. It was very hard to climb because it was very steep. Sometimes I had to hold on to the rails.

We're getting a haircut. My brother didn't like his haircut because it was cut too short. Mine is just right.

At my mom's grandfather's old house. He has bamboo in his back yard. We tried to climb the bamboo but it was very hard.

We saw lots of fish and turtles at Buddha temple pond

We're taking a walk in Jing Shang where my grandparents live. We saw an elementary school playing outside. We watched them for quite a while.

I think it looks like they are having lots of workout and fun.

We are at the Shanghai pavilion inside the World Expo. My mom brought us fruit Popsicle and they are good!

These are ladies dressed up in different costumes from different parts of China. We saw them at the world exp in the China pavilion. These ladies represents Shanxi province and I like their costumes.

These are ladies representing Beijing. They are dressed in Qing Dynasty costumes which is the last dynasty in China.

We also saw other country's pavilion, like Russia, Peru etc. We didn't see the US pavillion because the line was really long, like over 3 hours . It was also very hot but a lot of Chinese people still wear a lot of clothes.

Baby shower

Yesterday, I went to a baby shower and I helped decorate the walls and the tables. Then I learned how to blow up a balloon using a air pump. I was playing with E and I outside and pushing E on the tricycle.

I wish my mommy had another baby because I like babies. If my mommy have another baby, I will take care of it. I will change the diapers, feed baby, change baby clothes, and put baby to sleep. I will play with baby, teach the baby, wash the baby. I will call her sissy. If its a boy, I will call him brothy.

I had fun at the baby shower and my favorite part was helping A. S open the presents with other children.

This is Max. I was a little scared to hold Max. I will just pet him next time. But if my mommy help me, I will hold Max.

toad

Today when we went on a walk, I saw a toad that looked like a rock. Then I saw it jump and I find that it was really a toad. I told my mom and she came over and looked at it and said WOW!

First, my brother only petted the toad and then my mom said I wish you can pick it up so he picked up the toad. Then we wanted to keep it but my mom told us to put the toad in the bird bather but he went down the pipes.

camping on Memorial weekend

I went camping Memorial weekend. There was a lot of mosquitoes and I didn't finish my food because they kept biting on my food. We went to the beach and the water was cold. But we still had fun because we found a lot of rocks and sea shells.

Yesterday, I went to my friend, H' birthday party. She is 3 years old. I think she look like my other friend, Araina. My mom thinks so too.

We had fun at H's party. H and I even played dress up. We also played doctor.

We are starting the pinata.

This is Z. He is H's brother. He is good friend of my brother and me. :) He plays with the boys and I play with the small girls and babies.

robin egg

Today when we were at the park, my mom found a robin egg shell and the little robin already popped out. It is blue and it looks nice. My mom says it look like somebody painted it!

This is the feather of the little robin. It is really blue, not gray. The camera makes it look gray. I took the picture and that is my hand holding the feather.

Fluffy

Fluffy is my hamster and he is already pretty big. He digs a lot in our sand box. He can dig all the way down to the bottom of our sand box.

Fluffy is going into the little playground we made for him.

He almost buried himself into a deep, deep hole.

She is sitting on her eggs. What kind of bird is that? I know what she is not. She is not a robin, a cardinal, a sparrow, a raven, a blue jay, or a red winged blackbird.

New friends

Today I found 2 friend at the park. One of their name is Giovana and the other is Alice. Gionvana showed me how to do come down from the bars. We played with her toys. When I played with Alice, we tried the slide that was closed and it works. It was a lot of fun playing outside at the park. It is nice to find new friends. :)

Fairy house

I made a fairy house. I didn't bring much supplies but they got some supplies. I enjoyed it and I can build a fairy house for a long time. :-)

pond critters

Today I went to NM. I caught some pond critters.

I saw a snapping turtle. You can tell by its long tail with spikes.
This is the tummy part of the snapping turtle and the lady says it almost looks like it has a tattoo.
This is 2 baby turtles. One is a snapping turtle and one is the painted turtle. They are racing and the painted turtle won the race. I voted for the painted turtle and my mom voted for the snapping turtle.
The baby snapping turtle is trying to roll over but it doesn't want to so we have to help it.
This is a snapping turtle eating his favorite treat: ( banana )worms.
The leader is holding a peeper or a frog. I don't know because I forgot.

I took this picture of the flowers and I don't know what kind of flowers but they are so pretty. :)

Robin

Robins have been visiting our deck every day. We watch it everyday and we enjoy it. Today I saw a robin and it needed to poop. It was showing its butt to us. I observed when it needs to poop, it shakes its butt. Then when it is ready to fly, it opens and flaps it wings.

Exotic animals

Today I went to see exotic animals.

This is a ferret. Ferrets are playful but sometimes calm. I want ferret for a pet when I think I can handle a ferret.

This is a pictures of several snakes. If you see red, black and yellow, then you should just leave it alone.
This is when we are traveling through the blood stream. There are white and red blood cells. When I was sick, my doctor said my white blood cells are up. There are also platelets in my blood. They help to stop bleeding. But this was a decoration of your blood streams.

This is when we are about to touch the stomach of the cow. My daddy was just like "WOW"! I'm touching the stomach of the cow. The hole does not hurt the cow. The lady says it is like putting a hole in our ears for earrings.
I'm petting a horse which I think is a girl.

Now we are at dairy shop for ice cream but the lines was too long so we were playing on this tree that is like a pine tree home. It is pretty perfect for a fairy house.

Friend

I was climbing on a tree again. I had fun climbing on the tree and it wasn't hard.
Later, I found a friend and it was a boy. His name is Jonah. Whenever Jonah saw me, he always said' come on , lets play tag. So I played tag with him. I almost didn't get him but I did.

My mom said he was good at dodging me.

I was balancing on the rock before Jonah wanted to play tag with me.

Painting pottery

Today I went to paint pottery. I made a penguin mug. At first, I thought it looked funny later,I thought it looked nice. M mom did some and wanted to do it.
This is what it should look like when it is three coated. And the pottery should be three coated!
This is when I first started. I am wiping the penguin mug just in case dust is on it.

Going to W and H house

Today I went on a bridge that W an H's father build. We got all muddy at the end of our walk in the woods so I had to take a bath and I had to wear H's clothes. :)
This is when we were holding chicks. I was holding it with my sweater because at first I was scared. The chicks were soft and I always check on them.

This is when my brother was holding the chick and the legs are sticking out his hand! One of them tried to fly.

Mini vacation

The day before yesterday my family went to a retreat. We were staying for 2 days. I got to sleep in a bunk bed. The wake up call was 6:30 but we couldn't wake up at 6:30. Instead we woke up at 7:00.
On the 2nd day, we saw some geese.
I also climbed trees. I like climbing trees.

Classes on Tuesday

Today I went to choir and girl scouts .

In choir, we are preparing for our concert. We sang "In the big rock candy mountain", "Animals, animals, rise and shine", "I heard about", and many more.

At girl scout, I made a kite, a windsock, and a glider flier. I also had a snack and it was animal crackers and juice bottle. I think the juice was cranberry because it was red and it taste yucky to me.

I also learned math at home. We learned about vertical lines and horizontal lines. I like learning math at home.

Gnome making

I made the blue gnome and my mom made the green gnome. My mom didn't draw a face but I did.
This is when I am sewing the clothes for the gnome. I thought it was a little hard and it was a little hard.

This is my yellow tree that Ms. Lisa gave me. My mom put it on a necklace to take a picture of it.

Today I made origami people. I gave them funny faces because I didn't want make normal smile faces. I also gave them names like Rose because pink is like the color of rose. I made a lot of origami people, even more than in the pictures.

While the turtles were in the sewer, they were happy because they could swim. But then a hare fell into the sewer too. The hare wants to eat the four turtles. But the turtles are smart and tricked the hare. The turtles said,
" We are skinny and are not juicy." The rabbit replies, "Oh, MAN!" The turtles says, "Good. "

Then, a fox also fell into the sewer. The fox wanted to eat the turtles too! But the hare told the fox they are not juicy. So the fox said, "Aw, MAN!"
